Holiday cottages

The Office and Stables are both waterside cottages, in a quiet courtyard. They are bordered on one side by the river Kennall and on the other by a leat, which meanders slowly under a granite bridge. The cottages have been renovated with simple natural materials.

Lake and Forest garden

A short walk from the cottages is a private lake which guests are welcome to enjoy. The lake is part of our nature conservation work (and not for fishing) The lake is beautiful all year round. The paths and steps are uneven, stout footwear is recommended.

Visitors may also like to have a tour of our organic forest garden project, where we grow fruit and herbs. In 2008 we will be adding a number of new trees and shrubs chosen to take advantage of the likely effects of climate change.
